Surrey Cycle Challenge
Grab your bike for our cycling challenge around the Surrey Hills area, all while supporting people living with cancer and their family and friends.

The routes
Starting and finishing at ΠΗΜ½ΒιΆΉβs at The Royal Marsden in Sutton, join us this September for an unforgettable day of cycling through the stunning Surrey Hills, raising vital funds for ΠΗΜ½ΒιΆΉβs in London.
Our two brand new routes for 2026 offer something for everyone.
32 miles (53km) - 720m elevation
A rewarding challenge, including the iconic Box Hill climb. Perfect for intermediate riders or first-time cyclists.
55 miles (90km) - 1350m elevation
A tougher route featuring Green Dene, Pitch Hill, Leith Hill scenery, and Box Hill β showcasing some of the best cycling in the Surrey Hills and perfect for those looking to challenge themselves.
How to take part
- to confirm your place
- The routes have the following minimum age restrictions:
- Riders must be 13+ on event day
- Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult for the whole duration of the ride.
How we'll support you
- Training and fundraising support
- Fuel stops with snacks
- Mechanical and event support
- Post-ride lunch at our centre
- A free ΠΗΜ½ΒιΆΉβs cycling jersey
- Finisherβs medal
Fundraising
- We ask riders to raise a minimum of Β£150, which could pay for three people with cancer to see one of our psychologists and receive support in dealing with difficult emotions
- Every penny raised supports ΠΗΜ½ΒιΆΉβs centres across London, providing free expert cancer support to people and families who need it most
- This year, we celebrate 30 years of cancer support. Your ride helps ensure we're here for everyone impacted by cancer - today, tomorrow, and always
