Time: 6:00 pm
Where: Spanish City, Whitley Bay
Registration Fee: Β£15 - Β£20
Sponsorship target: Raise what you can
Join us for our annual walk along the beautiful North East coastline. Weβll start together at Spanish City in Whitley Bay and follow a 6km route, pausing halfway at St Georgeβs Church to light a candle and take a moment of reflection with music from Storiella. The walk finishes at North Shields Fish Quay where celebrations and a wellβearned medal await.
Registration opens from 4pm at Spanish City, with walkers setting off at 6pm. At the start zone you can enjoy live music, collect your event Tβshirt, and choose an βIβm walking forβ¦β back sign to wear during the walk.
At the midway point, weβll gather inside St Georgeβs Church for a calm and meaningful moment. Youβre invited to light a candle and take time to remember, supported by the beautiful vocal harmonies of Storiella.
Our finish at North Shields Fish Quay is all about celebration. Once you cross the line, you can enjoy the postβevent atmosphere and receive your medal to mark your achievement.
We encourage everyone taking part to try and raise Β£100 through sponsorship or fundraising. Our fundraising team will support you with setting up an online fundraising page, and sponsor forms and fundraising packs will also be available. Every penny raised supports ΠΗΜ½ΒιΆΉβs Newcastle.
Every pound really does count. From our building, gardens, programme of support and expert team, everything we do is funded by you, our local community. Your fundraising helps ensure we can continue to be here for people with cancer and those they love.
